CirClean is recommended for CIP cleaning and light de-staining of tanks and transfer lines.
TARTRATE SOILING: The amount of CirClean required will depend on the level of soiling and the size of the tank. The thickness of the tartrate deposit can vary dependant on the age of the wine, type, how long it has been in the tank and process in use such as cold stabilisation. CirClean is a cleaner not a sanitiser. If sanitising is required, sanitise tank using your preferred method.
TANK CLEANING: Use CirClean at dilutions from 1L/100L (1% v/v) to 5L/100L (5% v/v) depending on the degree of soiling.
RE-CIRCULATING SYSTEMS: Use CirClean at dilutions from 2L/100L (2% v/v) to 4L/100L (4% v/v). For ongoing efficacy, ensure the pH of the circulating cleaning solution is greater than 10.
