Our goal is to provide our customers with highly effective products that reduce the negative impact on our environment.
All products in the Dominant Earthcare® range are held to a set of standards that ensure we’re putting our best foot forward to protecting our earth. Covering a range of applications including kitchen, laundry, housekeeping and personal care, each product meets the following criteria:
Readily biodegradable & sustainably sourced surfactants
Plant derived and biodegradable surfactants are preferred by Dominant when formulating its products as these surfactants will micro-biologically break down into carbon dioxide and water within 28 days causing long term minimal impact to the land and aquatic systems. Each product carrying the Earthcare® logo contains surfactants that are readily biodegradable and are derived from sustainable sources.
No Phosphate
Phosphate free formulations help reduce the production of algal blooms in aquatic systems. Each product carrying the Earthcare® logo is Phosphate Free.
No Hypochlorite
The use of Hypochlorite has the ability to create hazardous by-products that can increase the risk of negatively impacting land, atmospheric and aquatic systems. Each product carrying the Earthcare® logo is Hypochlorite Free.
Non-Dangerous Goods
Each product carrying the Earthcare® logo is classified as a non-dangerous good helping reduce the risk of negatively impacting the environment and safety of the consumer.
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s)
These are compounds that contribute to atmospheric pollution. Each product carrying the Earthcare® logo contain minimal quantities of volatile organic compounds when used as directed.
Recyclable Plastic Packaging
Dominant is a committed member of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO). Dominant is proud to say we’re 11% above the average members in the APCO benchmarking report for leading change for the Healthcare and scientific industries. Each product carrying the Earthcare® logo contains recyclable plastic packaging.
